S4 Division Champions: Part II "Out with the Old in with the new or Dynasty continues?"

AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

AL NORTH:
S4 Champion:

S1, S2, S3 & now S4: The Seattle Mariners dominated this division from the beginning. S4 seemed uncertain though, and the Philadelphia Phillies stepped up and contended for the title, giving them a run for their money. Seattle struggled down the stretch but in the end, as always, they came out on top! Congratulations to The_Oat on winning the AL North and good luck in the playoffs!

AL EAST:
S3: Louisville Sluggers (Previous Champion)
S4 Champion:
While the Sluggers won it in S3 (Formerly Wichita) S4 belonged to the Rochester EliteDucks who dominated the East with 98 "W's"and looks to establish themselves as a "Divisional Dynasty" for the future. Congratulations to Keeid12x on winning the AL East and good luck in the playoffs!


AL SOUTH:
S4 Champion:
S1, S2, S3 & now S4: The New Orleans Bayou Bengals dominated this division from the beginning. This season was no different as they took the division easily by 21 games and their 104 wins. The Bengals are a true "Divisional Dynasty" and will look for a much anticipated, perhaps "due" league championship in S4. Congratulations on winning the AL South Kemosabe11, good luck in the playoffs!

AL WEST:
S4 Champion:
S2, S3 & now S4: The Albuquerque Pilots won a very weak Al West in S2 with 86 win, and were said to have "backed into the playoffs" in S3 with 75 wins, but in S4 there was no question. This team has improved one year to the next, and "backed in" or not they have established dominance in this division. Congratulations to Threester on winning the Al West and good luck in the playoffs!

AL Wild Card Winners: (1) Philadelphia Phillies, (2) Kansas City Jayhawks. Congratulations to Wholck and Dakar! and good luck in the playoffs!

NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

NL NORTH:
S1, S2, S3: Cincinnati Queens
S4 Champion:
In another division that has been won year in and year out by one team, the Queens, a long-time divisional champion is "dethrowned." S4 belonged to the Chicago Orphans with their 78 wins. Still a struggling division but one that appears to be improving. Either way the Orphans made it and will look to make good on their entry to the playoffs. Congratulations to Cretins on winning the NL North and good luck in the playoffs!

NL EAST:
S3: Scranton Blue Collars
S4 Champion:
In S4 the Dover Diamond Devils returned to their old ways. Dover won the division title in both S1, and S2, only to lose it to the Blue Collars in S3 by one game. With a new and improved winning capability these true "Diamond Devils" lit up the basepaths and dominated this division with a new league win record of 113! Despite 2nd place Scranton's 92 "W's" winning the division by an impressive 21 games. Congratulations to Drvmu1 for Hobbs best season so far, establishing a new league record of 113 wins, and on winning the NL East. Good luck in the playoffs! (Former record of 112 was set by the New Orleans Bayou Bengals and is no more.)

NL SOUTH:
S1, S2, S3: Jackson Stonewall
S4 Champion:
In S4, at least in the NL South, another "Divisional Dynasty" was "dethrowned" as Tampa Bay Citrus won their first divisional championship with 82 wins. The Citrus will look to establish themselves as the team to beat in NL South and for now are entitled. Congratulations to Emdump on winning the NL South and good luck in the playoffs!


NL WEST:
S4 Champion:
S2, S3 & now S4: The San Francisco Dedringers won Hobbs World's best overall division with 102 wins. For the 1st time in Hobbs history all 4 teams had over 90 wins (102, 96, 92, & 91). Winning this division was no small feat and is well deserved. Still, by doing so the Dedringers maintain their winning tradition as the West's "Divisional Dynasty" and will look to hold onto this title for the future despite this very competitive division. Congratulations to Brettm1220 on winning the NL West and good luck in the playoffs!
