Wednesday May 20, 2009: Los Angeles Press Conference

Immediately following M22pank's press conference (below), Ajf00529 took the stand and addressed the press as well.

"The Los Angeles Stars organization is more than happy with the progress our big league club has made this season. Going into the season, our goals were to finish above .500 in the tough NL West divison and to be in a position to play "meaningful" late season games. We are thrilled to have accomplished these goals, thanks in large part to the rapid development of some of our younger players. We are eagerly anticipating the final stretch run of the season in which we will compete against the league's best for a final playoff seed. While we hope to qualify for the playoffs, failing to do so will in no way take away from the success of our year. We would like to congratulate the division winners and wish well to our competitors in the wild card race."
