Bragging Rights: Roy Hobbs Elites

As most of you have read from the league chat Hobb's World has decided to enter the "Braggin Rights" world competition league. MikeT23, a pioneer of HBD, has created the world and has said, "So many worlds say 'We're elite' or 'We're the next elite world' or something along that line. Well, maybe it's time to put up or shut up." Well, Hobb's is one of those worlds and we want to put up!

The concept: Each of the 8 worlds that enter will provide 4 representatives including a "captain" for each world. Palet99, as commissioner of Roy Hobb's World, will be ours. Each world chooses either to battle together as an AL or NL presence, one rep in each division. Hobb's has decided to represent as a NL team. As of right now our 3 other reps are Drvmu1, M22pank, and Wylie715. Palet99 and Drvmu1 have been with us since the very beginning, and m22pank and wylie715 have ben since S2.

Palet99, as "captain" and commissioner will be responsible for filling the 4 representative spots, each year, who must all come from his world. Each year he will have the power to "boot" an owner who is unco-operative or can't seem to get it together. MikeT23 has said that "Each owner should be well aware of this when he signs up." So for our reps: be aware. But know that you were selected because we don't feel that this will be a problem. Each owner has been successful here and maintain competitive teams. On the same note, it will be an easy out when and if you decide to "retire" from the league. We simply find a new rep, and no harm done! Replacements must come from the current roster of our world. Therefore all of us are potential replacements.

So things should be exciting knowing that we are competing for "bragging rights" and the right to claim ourselves as "elite." We hope that we might be represented well by whom we will call the Hobbs Elites. If I could award you a badge to place on your profiles it would be the badge above. lol. So consider it yours. All in all, this should be fun and may add to the uniquness of this world. But hopefully it leads to a championship and one of our reps bringing home the "Bragging Rights!"
