At 40-16 in their last 56 games and the hottest team in all of Roy Hobbs, the Washington D.C. Lobbyists have given their fans a huge incentive to come to the ballpark and come they have. We've sold out the last 10 home games in a row, something we've never done before in franchise history, and season ticket sales for next season are already 70% higher than at this time last season. To put it simply, DC fans have Lobbyist fever. GM tamadrumr was asked in a recent press conference how the turnaround has come about from being a 27-46 team to only 2 games out of a playoff spot and charging. His response..."our team knew they were better than they were playing early in the season. I expected a turnaround, just not like this...but I'll take it!". Asked about playoff chances for his team, tamadrumr said "only 6 teams get in from each league and we'll try our hardest to be one of those 6 teams, but if we come up short, I think we've at least laid the groundwork for serious contention next season".
