No Hitter: Seth Andrews of the San Juan Mojos

Congratulations to Seth Andrews, Jpelot, and the San Juan Mojos for the no-hitter thrown in the 5/25 AM game. This is S4's 4th no-hitter, Jpelot's 1st ever, and Hobbs World's 7th all-time! Andrews struck out 5 while walking 2 batters, with a total pitch count of 108. Currently Andrews is in his rookie season, and before this stellar performance had been unimpressive, "typical of your average rook," said Stan Patrick "accumulating a very average 8-9 record, a 1.42 whip, and 5+ ERA." He then commented "any time you throw a no hitter, however, that season is very impressive! Very few have what it takes, including defensive team support, to pull off such a feat as a no-hitter. They are very rare, and when they occur, are very impressive." Andrews is a promising young talent and should improve in years to come. Although we may not see him do this again we should be seeing him in the seasons to come.
