Ben Wright's Season Two NL Predictions:

NL:
North
1st. Montreal: The Expo trade center may pay off this year with a division title but it will be close.
2nd. Cincinnati: The Queens have a decent chance to repeat as division champs but will fall short by a few games and miss the playoffs.
3rd. Chicago: The Orphans are waiting to challenge next year but may go for the division title that is up for grabs this year if their AAA pitching talent can make the jump to the big league to claim the north division banner.
4th. Minnesota: za Goldeyes hope to stay within 7 games of the leaders although 12 games back is more likely.

East
1st. Dover: The Diamond Devils should be the pace setters in this division. Boasts a strong rotation and starting line-up featuring: Armando Perez
2nd. Pawtucket: A balanced attack, rotation + bullpen will keep the Geeks close enough to have a chance for the NL east division banner.
3rd. Scranton: Ace Steve Smart will keep the Blue Collars in the hunt until the call-up from AAA for ace: Julio Martinez which will make things interesting for the top 3 teams in this division race.
4th. Jacksonville: Not enough talent here to challenge so the faithfull will have to wait for the Sun to shine another year.

South
1st. Jackson: The Stonewalls will be the pace-setter for the AL with a powerful attack combo: Slick Rapp & Slick Rapp alongside Ace
2nd. Charlotte: Look for the Codes to come out on top for 2nd spot in this division and grab the last wildcard berth although back of the leaders by 6 games.
3rd. Tampa: The Citrus will be 4 games out of second so will get no cigars this year and be packing their bags to go home early.
4th. Austin: Hitting should be a strong point for the Anteaters but will not be enough this year to get them out of the cellar. 12 games off the pace will be deemed a success for this club in season 2.

West
1st. Salt Lake City: This Golden Crew that features a strong starting line-up and pitching rotation will battle for top seed overall in the AL but will fall short. AAA prospect Ramon Martin will get the call-up this year solidfying the crews playoff chances.
2nd. Arizona: Clutch hitting along with the heat from the pitching staff ace Pepe Seguignol will net these guys a wild-card berth that will be determined on the last game of the season.
3rd. Oakland: Breakers will be so close but will find themselves on the outside looking in with this tight wildcard race in the AL
4th. San Francisco: Pat Chong will not be enough to get the deadringers into the playoff race in this tough division.

Playoff seeds will be: 1. Jackson 2. Dover 3. Salt Lake City 4. Montreal 5. Arizona 6. Charlotte
