Stump Peters Pitches a No-No.

Every season we have at least one pitcher who does it, pitches a no-hitter that is! We assume every pitcher here at Hobb's does it, artificially! Anyway, m22pank, manager of the Milwaukee High Lifes (24-33) saw his first no-hitter as manager thanks to Stump Peters. "Unless I missed it at one point in my career, my first ever no hitter as an HBD owner!" The game was the Milwaukee High Lifes vs. San Jose Silicon Splinters at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Peters came to their park and shut the West division leader coltjj and his San Jose Silicon Splinters (31-26) down. And that's sayin' something! Peters, at age 29 and in his 3rd ML year threw 111 total pitches, struck 5 out and walked only 3.

Now Mr. Peters has got himself a "No-hitter" award! (Nice to see WIS acknowledges them now, check out his award page!) Way to sit them down, Congratulations on the no-hitter!
