Las Vegas Press Conference, June 17th

To begin this year's Press Conferences Hobbs Media brings you the statement made earlier this afternoon by Las Vegas Legends's manager Blackmamba22.

"Good afternoon Roy Hobbs and of course the beloved city of Las Vegas. Last season was of course a disappointment and we made a decision to begin a rebuild of the Legends baseball club. Well I am excited to announce that we are in it to win again this year as so many pieces have fallen into place that it just would make sense to attempt a title run given various circumstances. the first would be an abundance of acquisitions that even front office personnel found to be surprisingly sweet. At this time we cannot mention names as this would jeopardize contractual negotiations and trade talks but I am here to ensure the fans of Vegas that we are making necessary moves that WILL put us in position to make the post season. This is baseball and of course it would be a little overboard to guarantee anything, but mark my words, we will be in the hunt for October baseball. At this time we here in Vegas would like to welcome all the new owners to our wonderful world of Hobbs and wish the best of luck to all of our fellow ballclubs. We will keep everyone posted as the season progresses, and we thank all of our fans for their support and faith in our beloved Legends. Thanks."

So there you have it. While the media would like to jump on this as a "guarantee" that Mamba's club will be in the post season, we wont. What it sounds like is a "guarantee" that he will be in the "running" for the post -season. We look forward to seeing!
