"We (LA management) are excited for the start of the upcoming baseball season. There has been a great deal of frustration in this town in recent years, as our team has endured three straight last place finishes. Unfortunately, we play in the utra-competitve NL West, a division that features the defending champion San Francisco Dedringers as well as a Salt Lake City squad. However, we embrace the challenge of facing these teams. This season we feel that with the talent we have added, failing to earn a playoff birth would be considered a failure.
