THE INTERVIEW: Get to know BlackMamba!

Q1: What does blackmamba mean anyway!?

A: The blackmamba is actually the deadliest snake in the world and the reason its my nickname is my friends are always calling me a snake for pulling off pranks and shenanigans so if I was gonna be a snake, I am goin to be the best snake. It is a long story.LOL

Q2:
Why did you decide to join Hobbs World?
A: I was actually a part of the UBA Inc world, and not realizing forum policy i posted a bump to get the last team needed to roll. Bad idea, I was saw as a drama producer. I Talked to Hobbs commish and upon approval joined here. The Blog (thanks to Stnick44) was really cool and playing music and full of info, well that really got me pumped about HBD. By the way i voted to keep the music.

Q3: Who is the best player on your squad? The Las Vegas Legend's STAR!
A: That is tough to say, but I really like Tomas Jose. Fred Payton is a fan favorite because he is from Vegas , and Iggy B ( Ignacio Batista ) is my dude. Bill McNamara is a huge surprise also.

Q4: What is your baseball fantasy? (Question made by Mamba himself!)
A: I would love to hit up every ballpark in the Bigs, get there early for BP, have a hot dog and beer and enjoy the American Pastime all over America!

Q5: What is your outlook on this years season?
A: Pre Season, I was screwed! I made a lot of moves and thought that in such a weak division, I had made a division champ, but now I am just looking forward to duking it out in the AL West, and I do have a legit shot, but I am also planting seeds for the very near future. We will see.

Q6: Who do you consider you biggest rival in the league? (friendly, of course...but competitive!)
A: It has got to be Albuquerque Pilots...threester is a competitor and has huge depth and a bright future. I also took a liking to hate on the New Orleans Bayou Bengals just because they are good and I have no idea what a bayou bengal is..LOL

Q7: What is your favorite sport and why?
A: Baseball. I play it in a college summer leauge, I watch it live and in person, i do this to feed the baseball appetite. It is the greatest thing on this planet. It is filled with history, scandal, drama, steroids, and it is fun. The legends of the game are folk heroes and icons. I LOVE THIS GAME. and...there is no crying in baseball. It makes grown men act like kids..I could go on and on...

Q8: Where are you from? (What part of the country?)
A: I am from Ohio. Huge Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers fan. We are starving for a title and King LeBron James might bring it home this year.

Q9: Who is your favorite baseball player of all time and why?
A: Pete Rose. He is exactly everything I described above about baseball. His hustle and heart are the most inspring thing for an athlete minus the gambling. LET HIM IN COOPERSTOWN!!!!

Q10: At the risk of sounding a bit like pre-school on your first day...what is something interesting about yourself that you may want to share? (Anything!!)
A: I had a son in december and he is 4 months old. I love him to death. He sits with me when I check the daily results. His name is Max.

Q11: Name or Nickname that you would like the league to know other than your screen name?
A: Phat Cobra. It is what my fellow summer leaugers dubbed me when I started calling my self the blackmamba.

"I plan on doing this as long as possible and definetly would like to get in a dozen or two seasons. Hobbs is great and as long as it keeps it up or gets better, I will be there, in Vegas. Thanks."
