Hobbs League Rules: Season 11

****HOBBS DYNASTY****

• 1. "Follow WiS rules"
• 2. "Individual Players Contract Salary Cap" *This does not apply to International free Agents (IFA)*
• Seasons 1 and 2 = Any year of the contract will not exceed 12 million (includes bonus)
• Seasons 3 and 4 = Any year of the contract will not exceed 14 million (includes bonus)
• Seasons 5+ = The first year of any player contract shall not exceed 15 million; and the bonus shall not exceed 5 million. Any subsequent year of the contract shall not exceed 15 million (including bonus).
• *i.e. Max salary for the first year is 20 million (15 salary/5 bonus)*
• 2.a "Penalty" if an owner is in violation of guideline #2 the player with the illegal contract will be suspended for 40 regular season games and not elligible for playoffs in each year of the contract Members have the option of voting player out of the league the following season.
• 3. "General": Fairplay and good sportsmanship, including active participation: Assign pitchers accordingly to avoid fatigue, Do not sabotage team (Ethical management system), and notify commissioner of any prolonged absence or problems.
• 3.a "Penalty": Members have the option of voting an owner out of the league the following season.
• 4. "Competetivness" All owners are required to actively participate on all levels, INLCLUDING MINOR LEAGUES, and to employ the guides described in rule 3. in order to prevent fielding a team sufficiently weakened so as to render the match a non-event.
• *i.e. Final score 28-3; fielding SP's who enter the game at 0% usually will result in a "non-event," rendering football scores as opposed to baseball ones.*
• 4.a "Penalty": Owners may be replaced immediately.
• 4.b "Exceptions" Owners shall not be replaced prior to the comissioner's warning and a "reasonable time" (10 games) to fix the problem. After 10 games, where the problem continues and matches remain "non-events" the comissioner shall have discretion to alot more time or to impose the penalty of immediate replacement.
