Hobbs Rookie of the Year Projections

AL: Rookie of the year Projection is Jimmie Segui. Segui was signed in S2 as an International Free Agent for $17.4 million. Out of Sahuayo Mexico he has come to light up the majors, and should. In 356 games Segui leaves the minors with a 150 Hr's, .349 batting avg., .434 obp, a 1.212 ops, and 42 stolen bases. This guy possesses a rare combination of excellent power, great contact and splits, and speed! Despite a slow start watch for this guy to pick it up. He should be the NL Rookie of the Year!

NL:
Rookie of the year Projection is B.J. Lawton. Lawton is S1's 20th overall pick who hails from Cheektowaga, NY. This rare talent came straight from Cleveland Hill High School at age 18 signing for a $3,105,000 bonus. And he has been worth every penny! After 424 minor league games Lawton leaves the minors with 134 HR's, a .318 batting avg., a .395 obp, and a 1.026 ops! This guy is the surest thing to a R.O.Y. that we have seen so far. This guy is a complete hitter, and will dominate at the plate. If he doesn't win the R.O.Y. this year than it will mean that he was injured, which is actually pretty likely given his health. If he can stay healthy however, this is a definite future hall of famer!
