Changes for Season 2

After a tough season for the Salem Moon Dogs, finishing off the year at 56 - 106, Bossmao has decided he has "had enough" and will be stepping down as owner. Rumors have it that he was asked to resign by the team. A close source says, "The team has talent, they're not a 56 win team. Maybe a new owner is just what this team needs." The team also has some up and coming talent from the Low-A level where they took the 1st seed in the playoffs, reaching the AL championship game only to be knocked off by a very good Seattle team.

Dspahlinger will also be relieving himself of ownership duties. As owner of the St. Louis Cardinals he ended the season just 2 games short of .500, turning out an 80 - 82 record. He was not available for questioning. This team made a good run for the playoffs, has promising talent in the ML, and will be a good contender in season 2 with the right manager.

Surprisingly, The Mexico City Eloteros, winning the NL wild Card will undergo a change of ownership as well. This team has a good mix of veteran and young talent and should make another good run for the playoffs in a very competitive division. They ended the year with a 97 - 65 record, losing in the 1st round of the playoffs to the Cincinnati Bearcats, another talented team who was beaten out by Dover Diamond Devils. Manger doctorbenway has only stated that he "regrets" that he will not be returning.
